LOOKING back now it seems crazy that failed reality star Stephen Bear once won one of the biggest popularity contests on TV.
The 32-year-old, who was found guilty yesterday of leaking a video he secretly filmed of him and Love Island star Georgia Harrison having sex, was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother back in 2016.
Now Nicola McLean – who took part in CBB in 2012 and again in 2017’s All-Star vs. New Star season – claims his victory proves how easy it is for “narcissistic” men like Bear to fool and manipulate women, just like he did the public.
She tells The Sun: “The fact that he won a show like Big Brother, it shows how men like him are so charming.
“He's manipulative. He's gaslighted Georgia. He's completely taken advantage of her, but he won one of our biggest popularity contests.
“One minute they're so lovely. The next minute, they're w****rs, the next minute they're lovely again. That's why women stay in abusive relationships, because they’re so alluring.

“I've done that show twice and never won it. And I'm a nice girl who would never do anything like that! It just shows you, it really does.”
Low-life Bear was convicted of one charge of voyeurism and two charges of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films yesterday.
He filmed the consensual sex with Georgia on CCTV then made at least £40,000 after uploading the clip to OnlyFans.
'Could've been any of his exes'
Georgia – who bravely waived her right to anonymity in the trial – was just one of a number of reality stars Bear dated over the years, including Vicky Pattison, Charlotte Crosby and Jemma Lucy.

Nicola adds: “I reckon most single girls would definitely have wanted to be with him.
“Georgia just got very unlucky that it happened to her because it could have been any of those girls.
“That's why what Georgia's done, speaking out, is so important.
“She could have easily believed all his lies. She could have easily fallen back into the, 'oh I'm sure he didn't mean it. I'm sure it was a mistake' mindset, because that's what he was feeding her.
“He was changing his story and gaslighting her, and that's what happens in these relationships.”
'Georgia will help so many'
Nicola is currently involved in a police investigation after alleging her masseuse sexually assaulted her.
Given just over one per cent of rape cases recorded by police in the year to September 2021 resulted in a suspect being charged or receiving a summons, Nicola says Georgia should be proud of herself for pursuing it.
“So many women don't report because it's almost like, what's the point in going through more torture when it's highly unlikely they’ll be found guilty?” she says.
“People definitely underestimate the impact of sexual assault and the court case after.

"You can't ever imagine how you'll feel in these situations and it's horrific. It is life-changing.
“So I hope Georgia now can rebuild and move on and maybe some greater good can come out of it.
“I hope that she can go on to do something with it, as it just shows her strength of character for coming forward and waiving her right to be anonymous.
“It will help a lot of other people going through it.”
'Dangerous'
Bear will be sentenced on January 31 next year – and Nicola hopes the punishment is fitting.
She explains: “Someone with his arrogance is dangerous because he doesn't think he's done anything wrong in this situation.
“The way he's rocking up to court in his Rolls Royce – which he's clearly rented – he’s treated this trial like a reality show.
“He's used it to gain more popularity on social media, to plug his OnlyFans. He's even asked on his social media platforms, 'What colour should I wear to court tomorrow?' and done polls.
“He's treated this whole thing as a joke.
“The girlfriend turning up with him every day, the matching outfits, the cane, the cigar – it screams of someone that has not taken any accountability for their actions.”
She adds: “It just shows you that he really doesn't give a s***. He does not care.
“And that's worrying, especially for someone that has done something of a sexual nature – because, where does it escalate to? Where does it go?”
