Kevin Clifton admits Layton’s Cha Cha was better than his
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Kevin Clifton will be returning to the Strictly studios next week as he fills in for his sister Joanne Clifton on choreography corner.
After discussing what she thought of the weekend’s performances and giving her comments, host Fleur East revealed she would be away from the show next week.
She explained: “Well Joanne, thank you! You are off next week but before you go! By the fleckle of my feet, a week today a spooky treat.
“Yes boys and ghouls, next week is Halloween and it is a scary time for our Strictly couples and made even more frightening as Kevin Clifton has risen again for choreography corner.
“Ahead of his appearance on Halloween we want you to decide which ghastly costume he will wear, there will be three choices.

“The evil Joker nurse, undead living doll from the Chucky films, or do you want Kevin as the Addams family daughter? Were you and Kevin fans of Halloween back in the day?”
Joanne revealed: “Not at all, my mum, I phoned her and said ‘Have you got any pictures of us at Halloween’.
“And she went ‘I have none because you two were so scared’ so we have no pictures of Halloween because we were too scared and stayed in the house crying.”
Fleur laughed and joked: “You cried in your houses on Halloween? We better not trigger any memories when your brother is here.”

Kevin left the show back in 2020 after seven years on the show and admitted that he wanted to leave on a high after the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas special.
In a statement, he said: “The past seven years have been some of the most wonderful of my life.
“I am grateful to the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing for giving me the opportunity to have been part of something truly special.
“After finishing the last series with the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas special I wanted to leave on a high and have therefore decided the time has come to move on and focus on other areas of my life and career.”
During his time on the show, he met his now girlfriend Stacey Dooley after they were paired together in 2018, and now share daughter Minnie.
