Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Taylor has revealed the hit show is a right pain in the boobs.

The comedian is aching in places she didn’t know possible due to the intense training schedule.

Exhausted Ellie said: “Even my boobs have even been aching this week. I didn’t even know that was possible.

“My upper body is wondering what is going on.”

The Ted Lasso actress said she had no idea how tough Strictly would be when she signed up, and told how dancing on the hit BBC show was giving her nightmares.

Ellie, 38, said: “I’m loving it but Strictly is full on. I expected it to be really physical because you are so active training all the time.

“But it’s the mental side of things which is harder, especially because I know I am not the best dancer.

“I have a little wobble every day. I wake up in the middle of the night and the song is going around and around in my head and I am thinking about my footwork.

“I reckon I will still be dreaming about it in six-months or for years to come.

“I’ll be dreaming have forgotten the dance, and I will be standing naked in front of all the judges.”

Ellie is one of the bookies’ favourites to get the boot on Sunday's results show.

The married-mum-of-one is training up to 12-hours every day with pro partner Johannes Radebe, 35.

She said: “When you sign up for Strictly your family also signs up for Strictly.

“It is mad how much the show gets into your head. It is ever present.

“I will come home and my husband will be cooking me dinner and I will be talking about keeping my shoulders back and closing my legs.

“I keep thinking, oh my god, who am I?”

Last week viewers blasted head judge Shirley Ballas, 62, for being too hard on Ellie.

Fans have also accused Shirley of sexism, claiming she favours the male celebs.

But Ellie defended Shirley saying: “I know I have a lot of things to learn. I fear all the judges’ comments. But I know they are there to do a job and you just have to take it on the chin.

“To be honest Jo is my biggest judge, he is the one I really want to impress.”

Ellie said her dancing was so bad she felt sorry for Johannes.

But she praised her partner adding: “I just feel sorry for him. Johannes has to tell me the same thing over and over again.

“He does it so beautifully with a big smile on his face but I’m sure he wants to scream into a pillow.

“Laughter has helped us both cope with me. Crikey, Johannes has had to have a good sense of humour coping with me.

“I remind myself that I may not be the best dancer but I can always try my best.

“It may sound cheesy and it is such a mum thing to say but it is true.”
