Craig Revel Horwood

Outspoken Aussie star Craig Revel Horwood's life story is a rollercoaster of twists and turns that sees the star enjoy a rather unusual side gig.

From a sleepy outback town to becoming a West End sensation, and even the spouse of a Welsh actress, Craig's life has been full of drama. Born and raised in the mining town of Ballarat, Australia, Craig's journey took an unexpected turn when he decided to fund his dreams by becoming a dazzling drag queen, known as the fabulous Lavish.

He sashayed his way across the entire Australian continent, stealing hearts wherever he went. But when he packed his bags and headed to the UK in the late '80s, he decided to "kill off" Lavish and start fresh.

Strictly Come Dancing fans had an extra surprise back in 2019 as show judge Craig transformed into a Victorian era lady for a sensational drag performance. The star put on a show stopping performance as the musicals themed quarter final episode of the series aired.

Craig burst onto the dance floor with a dazzling grin, skipped across the floor, then hitched up his skirt to climb a giant cake and belt out some lines from the musical’s title song. And fans couldn’t get enough of his star turn – with many taking to X to express joy.

“Catching up on #Strictly and Craig I didn't think I could love you more but wow that was brilliant,” said one fan. “I loved Craig in Drag, gorgeous!” penned another.

Graziano Di Prima

After captivating Strictly Come Dancing audiences for six thrilling series, Graziano Di Prima made a sensational career pivot beyond the BBC dance floor.

At just 29 years old, Graziano unveiled a thrilling new chapter in his life—a starring role in a Christmas movie that made its debut on US television in November. Taking to Instagram, the accomplished dancer shared enchanting behind-the-scenes snippets and snapshots with his co-stars, which included former Sugababe sensation Jade Ewen and the charismatic Glee star, Matthew Morrison.

Graziano exclaimed: "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! I am so thrilled to finally announce that I've made my big-screen debut! I am stepping into the role of Paolo in 'A Paris Christmas Waltz,' which graced the screens on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 8 pm Eastern Time on Great American Family, across the pond in the US!"

The beloved BBC star also took a moment to reflect on his incredible journey, expressing his gratitude for the remarkable opportunities that have come his way. Hailing from Sicily, Italy, Graziano recounted: "When I was a young boy growing up in Sicily, I never could have fathomed the incredible experiences that lay ahead of me. I am genuinely humbled and profoundly thankful for this opportunity. I can hardly wait to gather with my family and enjoy this cinematic treat this Christmas."

Zara McDermott, his dance partner for 2023, couldn't contain her enthusiasm, exclaiming, "So proud of you!!!!!!!! My partner is a movie star!!!" Meanwhile, Vito Coppola cheered, "Weeeee congrats fraaaa," and Karen Hauer chimed in with an enthusiastic "Amazing!! Congrats."

Giovanni Pernice

Strictly's Italian heartthrob might just be trading the ballroom for reality TV fame, insiders claim. Since his dazzling debut in 2015, Giovanni has been a fan favourite, sizzling on the dance floor season after season, even snagging the title in 2021 alongside Rose Ayling-Ellis.

His latest partner, Sherlock star Amanda Abbington, caused quite a stir when she dramatically left the show recently. This surprising move led to Giovanni's untimely exit, leaving fans in tears. Whispers have been swirling that Giovanni might bid farewell to Strictly for good, and now, an industry guru is weighing in on his potential next moves.

Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo, spilled the beans exclusively to the Daily Star, saying: "Amanda's sudden departure has sparked rumors about Giovanni's future. He's been dropping hints about upcoming projects outside of Strictly."

Aldworth pointed out: "Giovanni recently teased his 2024 tour 'Giovanni: Let Me Entertain You,' taking him across the UK next year, which could become a career game-changer." Giovanni might be set to grace the screens of an iconic reality show. With ITV's Celebrity Big Brother locked in for the upcoming year, insiders suggest he's the perfect fit.
