Strictly’s Adam Thomas admits ‘I dont remember’ tipsy ITV interview

Adam Thomas can’t remember one of interviews on This Morning

Strictly Come Dancing’s Adam Thomas confessed he had no recollection of a This Morning interview after a night of partying.

The former Emmerdale star appeared on the ITV daytime show shortly after leaving I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

He appeared via live stream when the show wrapped alongside fellow campmate Joel Dommett to speak to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about his time Down Under.

Not long after that interview, Adam returned to This Morning and Phillip said: “I can’t believe that this is the first time that you have ever been in this studio.”

Adam replied: “I know! I’ve always wanted to be on This Morning, I’ve been on it three times in the last three weeks.

“I mean, one of them I can’t really remember!”

Realising what Adam was referring to, Holly and Philllip laughed as they remembered their chat with the star shortly after he left I’m A Celebrity.

Speaking to the two campmates during their wrap party from Australia, Adam and Joel were extremely giddy as they celebrated their time in the Jungle.

At the time, Phillip asked: “What happens now then? You’ve got the big party in a minute?”

Adam replied: “You’ve interrupted our big party, I’m not going to lie. We’re halfway through it.

“We’re all going out now on the lash, I’m pretty much there to be honest with you.”

The This Morning hosts burst into laughter at his honest response as Phillip commented: “We guessed that.”

It looks as though there could be more celebrations ahead for Adam as bookies currently have him at 11/1 at winning this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Although he’s got some strong competition as Angela Scanlon and Bobby Brazier are storming ahead with odds of 7/2 to raise the Glitterball.

Also competing this year includes Layton Williams, Nigel Harman, Angela Rippon, Zara McDermott, Annabel Croft and Nikita Kanda.

Ellie Leach, Amanda Abbington, Eddie Kadi, Jody Cundy, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Les Dennis will also be taking part in the BBC show.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2023 with further details about air date and start time to be confirmed.
