Strictlys Adam Thomas forced to miss It Takes Two stint after health struggle

Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas has been forced to skip his appearance on BBC show spin-off It Takes Two.

The star was expected to appear alongside dance partner Luba Mushtuk, but she appeared solo, explaining that he was absent due to medical reasons. Host Fleur East told viewers: “Unfortunately, Adam is feeling a bit under the weather, but please mention the lovely Luba Mushtuk.”

She started off by telling viewers “it is so strange to be here by myself,” before issuing an update to shocked fans. “He is resting now. He just didn’t feel very well but he is resting and getting ready for tomorrow night.”

One concerned fan took to X to share their thoughts on the matter. “Adam feeling under the weather oh dear . Things are really against him at the moment training wise.”

The fan was referring to Adam’s difficult week after he was unable to rehearse due to coming down with the flu. Adam will take to the stage again this weekend with a horror themed routine for Halloween.

His preparations for this week are reported to be going much smoother, or so fans thought until he was unable to appear on tonight’s show. Adam has admitted he is finding it "tough" to leave his happy family behind as he leaved in the early hours of the morning for training.

He said: "Leaving these two peas in a pod/bed was tough this morning! Like mother like daughter. Although she may look like her mother, she’s a lot more like me ahhaha don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing haha bless her x"

Adam found himself in the firing line however after fans accused him of faking “faking” the snap. Some of his followers are saying he faked the pictures as the two appear '"oo glamourous".

"Who even looks like that in a morning?" penned one fan. While another wrote: "She's beautiful but there's no way on hell she's asleep. The bub is but no way is mama. Nice pic tho just a fake one."

Adam could well get the boot this weekend as bookies predict bad news for him and Zara McDermott Former Love Islander Zara is the favourite to leave, according to Ladbrokes.

Emmerdale actor Adam could also face eviction from the competition with odds at 5/1. Zara still very much leads the elimination list with odds at 1/2.
