Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas will be taking to the dance floor again on Saturday night.
But the Waterloo Road actor, 35, was pictured limping and appearing to be in pain just hours away from his performance amid his ongoing battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Adam, the brother of former Corrie star Ryan, is due to dance a jive routine to Take On Me from The Super Mario Bros. Movie alongside his pro dance partner Luba Mushtuk for Movie Week this weekend.
However ahead of this year's series, Adam opened up about his fight with his secret health battle after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Adam, who has also been in Emmerdale, appeared in pain and limping as he was pictured walking with a carry suitcase on Saturday.
The star dressed casual in a white long-sleeved polo top and navy trousers paired with trainers ahead of his performance on the popular BBC dance competition.
Adam received the devastating diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis the day before his birthday in August and has been keeping his fans up to date with his progress as he learns to cope with it.
Speaking about his recent diagnosis, Ryan said it came as a complete shock to him and his wife of six years, Caroline.
"This year has been tough there’s no doubt about that… but I’ve just got to stay focused now," he said on social media recently.
"I’m still struggling and the pain is still there but I’m putting on a brave face I’ve got to stay strong!!"
Adam previously shared the news on his Instagram, as he posted a pic of himself with his wife, Caroline, and their two children, son Teddy and daughter, Elsie-Rose.
Speaking then about how the pain affected him, he said: "It started with my knees and then traveled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes. I never knew what was happening and finally after several blood tests and back and forth to doctors and hospitals, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis!"
Prior to getting his dancing shoes on the actor said he'd found swimming helped alleviate some of the pain.
Adam previously had to defend himself over rumours of a "fix" on Strictly, with him being forced to deny he had an unfair advantage after it emerged that his wife Caroline is a trained dancer.
Again taking to Instagram, Adam said: "I do not know what I have gotten myself into as I cannot dance to save my life as you'll probably find out sooner or later. But you know what, I have been wanting to do this show for so many years now and I cannot believe it is finally happening."
Adam earned 23 points and received some positive feedback from the judges, including from Motsi Mabuse, in last week's tango to Maneskin's version of Somebody Told Me.
