Johannes Radebe jokingly piled 'pressure' on his Strictly partner Ellie Taylor to win the BBC show after losing out on the trophy last year.

The Strictly pro dancer teased comedian Ellie during a chat on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (October 28).

Johannes teased Ellie he was counting on her to bag him the glitterball trophy after he came runners-up with Bake Off star John Whaite on the last series.

Johannes and John captured the hearts of the nation but lost out to reigning champs Rose-Ayling Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.

Lorraine host Christine Lampard told Johannes: "You were very close to that glitterball. Very touching distance!"

Jhhannes burst out laughing and let out a jovial cry of pain before saying: "This is why we are thankful for second chances, isn't it?"

He then turned to Ellie and cheekily added: "No pressure…", which prompted Ellie to relpy: "Blimey!"

Johannes went on: "You know, we went all the way to the finals. I wish the same for us, babe, and more if that's possible."

It comes ahead of Halloween Week, where Johannes and Ellie are set to dance the Couple's Choice to I Put A Spell On You by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy.

Johannes recently heaped praise on his former dance partner John during a chat with Steph's Packed Lunch.

He said: "That award is called the game-changers and I think there’s no better name fitting for what John and I accomplished last year.

"My babe, once again I just want to say how proud I am because let’s be honest, he made that Strictly for me, he really did.

"I absolutely loved every minute of it so the fact that we’ve gone to leave this world a better place, it really humbles me."
