TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has revealed what she regrets about being on the show months after she quit the series.

The reality star left Teen Mom 2 in May after over a decade-run on the franchise.

While fans watched many events in her personal life play out on TV, Kailyn admitted there's one thing she wishes wasn't documented for the world to see.

"My biggest regret filming? My kids just told me I said 'on live tv' that they could have an iguana when Isaac is 10 & now he’s 12 & they want to hold me accountable," the podcast host jokingly tweeted on Monday.

The 30-year-old shares her pre-teen son, Isaac, with her ex-Jo Rivera.

She is also a mom to a son, Lincoln, eight, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and sons, Lux, four, and Creed, one, with her ex-Chris Lopez.

Despite not following through on getting an iguana, Kailyn has welcomed many other pets into her home.

The MTV alum treated her dogs to a lap of luxury by building them a separate room inside her $750K Delaware dream mansion.

During the building process, she gave her followers a tour of her dogs' space in the home, revealing her plans for her furry friends.

While walking through a large open room near the back of the house, she revealed in the caption: “This is the dog room!”

Kailyn added: “Will have a dog bath & an automatic doggy door to an outdoor dog run.”

The TV personality has two Cane Corsos, Karma and Buddha, and had a French Bulldog named Gizmo, who recently passed.

Kailyn mentioned in an earlier episode of her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast the difficulties of being a pet parent.

"I always say animals are harder than kids, I say it all the time," she said. "I mean, it's just hard because they don't have diapers and if they have anxiety, what is the anxiety about."

The dog-lovers first pet pooch, a seven-year-old Rottweiler called Bear, was put down during an episode of Teen Mom 2 finale in 2019 when Kailyn had to break the sad news to her three eldest boys.

She has since added to her family with several kittens, which she recently debuted on Instagram.

The live video showed her new boyfriend, Elijah Scott, 24, sitting on a couch and holding up a pillow while one kitten sat beside him.

Kailyn's post read: "When you did not agree to getting kittens but you wake up from a nap to new kittens in the house," with a crying laughing emoji.

'I WAS SO SCARED'

Kailyn recently opened up about the strength it took to leave the show after 11 years on the franchise.

During Friday's installment of her Barely Famous podcast, the young mom responded to a fan's question, asking if she misses Teen Mom.

"I'm so thankful for the opportunity. I think it was a really unique experience that a lot of people don't have, and so I'm very thankful, but I also don't necessarily miss it, no," Kailyn honestly replied.

The MTV star further explained that fellow Teen Mom 2 alum Chelsea Houska, 30, convinced her to leave.

"What's crazy is that I was talking to Chelsea [Houska] for probably two years since she had the courage to leave and kind of decide that it was time for her to move on, and I also felt the same way, but I was so scared," she admitted.

"I was very scared because that's all I've known since I was 16 years old. So, I stopped filming for several months, and then I went back. I was scared financially…"

Kailyn explained that she has no bad blood between the network, despite how her exit might've been portrayed on TV.

"To answer the question: Do I miss it? No. But not in a way that is – I'm not like angry about it, but I don't necessarily miss it if that makes sense."

She continued: "I have absolutely no hard feelings despite how it looks like it ended on the show. It didn't actually end that way, and they've [MTV producers] called me several times after to see if I wanted to participate in other things.

"I don't miss it, but I don't mean that in a rude way at all."

MOVING ON

Kailyn told Perez Hilton during an appearance on her podcast earlier this year about her plans to say farewell to the franchise.

She said: "Teen Mom, you know the ratings are really dropping for us…

"I feel like there does come a time where it’s run its course, and I think that goes for every reality show."

She also revealed that she didn't feel she was offered enough money to film further episodes, which was "part of" her reason for leaving.
