The Apprentice star Joe Phillips sends fans wild in tiny shorts on Safari trip | The Sun

THE Apprentice hopeful Joe Phillips flaunted his Safari skills in tiny shorts.

The star is always seen sporting a suit on the BBC business show – but he switched his business attire for something more animal-friendly in a recent video.

In episode two of his social media Jungle Joe series, conservationist Joe taught his followers about a fascinating creature, the leopard tortoise.

Alongside the clip, he wrote: "Weighing up to 40kgs, the Leopard Tortoise is Africas largest tortoise!

"The Tortoises family is one of our planets oldest life forms. They’ve been around for over 200 million years – that’s longer than dinosaurs, birds, mammals and even crocodiles!

"What a privilege to see these ancient creatures still roaming the African plains!"

But despite Joe guiding fans through the clip as he examined a leopard tortoise's shell, it wasn't his knowledge catching the eye of viewers – it was his short shorts.

One fan wrote: "Where do you get all these short shorts 👀."

"You thought my shorts were short 😂" remarked another as they tagged a friend.

Another viewer compared the star to famous Australian zookeeper, Steve Irwin, writing: "You give me Steve Irwin vibes. I love watching your Jungle Joe features.

"I really hope this develops into a mainstream series. You make nature interesting! Love your passion for it. All the best. Rooting for you."

The clip also caught the attention of fellow The Apprentice candidate Avi Gotwham, who gushed: "You are really not just a pretty face. Wow 🤯."

Alongside fellow contestant and environmental business-man Mark Moseley, who joked: "Keep ‘em coming mate! 🐢 One question that is not wildlife related – Did you buy XS shorts in Antigua? 😉"

Joe, who is eager to gain Lord Sugar's investment, is originally from Worcester, but moved to South Africa to become a safari guide after studying zoology at the University of Exeter.

The star started his own business, Faliforna, a ocean-friendly cosmetics company during his second year of university.

On his website he explained: "I hope to raise awareness for the need to transition away from traditional cosmetics and towards a more sustainable future."
