The Chase fans all have the same complaint about 'frozen' contestant in final round | The Sun

THE Chase viewers all had the same complaint about a contestant who appeared to be "frozen" during the final round.

Bradley Walsh, 62, hosted the much-loved ITV1 quiz show again, and welcomed four new hopeful players to their podiums.

But there was one contestant who caught the eye of viewers, and quickly became the hot topic of the show on social media.

The player failed to answer most of the questions correctly in the final round of the gameshow.

Hayley, went up against The Beast Mark Labbett to try and bag herself the cash prize of £14,000.

But she found herself in a pickle as she pressed the buzzer only once – answering incorrectly while her team mates picked up her slack.

A fourth penned: "Hayley looking so upset. Like she contributed absolutely anything."

Despite viewers thinking Hayley didn't contribute much, the player still gave it her best shot during the cash builder round – as she chose a lower prize so that she could get to the final.

Luckily, Hayley and the rest of her team made it to the final round and managed to get 14 spots.

Bradley hinted that they would need a few "push backs" to beat Mark, but despite their efforts it wasn't enough as Mark snatched the £14,200 of them.

The Chase airs on ITV1 and is available on ITV Hub.
