The Chase viewers were doing a double take after a contestant on the show bore striking similarities to a Married at First Sight star.

Tuesday evening's episode of the ITV quiz show saw Anthony, Charlie, Catherine and Heidi join forces to take on one of the country's finest brains – and one of them soon stole the show.

As the new contestants took on Mark Labbett, aka The Beast, viewers were soon distracted by hopeful Anthony.

And many noticed his uncanny resemblance to Married at First Sight star Duka Cav.

Immediately, those watching at home took to Twitter to compare the player to his reality TV doppelgänger.

Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: "Just me or does Anthony look like Duka from MAFS?" to which someone replied: “omg yeah he does!”

Another fan commented: “Thought he was Duka from MAFS UK. I know I'm sad watching it.#TheChase.”
