The Chase contestant Raza blew fans and Chaser, The Sinnerman, away when he took home £7k after his one on one round.

The cheery contestant was dubbed a "good player" by presenter Bradley Walsh and Paul Sinha even claimed that he had a "different knowledge base" than he did, making him an ideal team player for the final chase.

Fans on Twitter rallied behind Raza in support, with one tweeting: "Yes!!! Get in Raza is the man so glad he got through."

Another wrote: "Well done, nice chap #TheChase."

A third put: "I officially am a fan of Raza he is awesome #thechase."

During his one on one with The Sinnerman, Raza started singing The Dreidel Song from adult comedy show, South Park to help him answer a question, which saw more viewers warm to the contestant.

"Raza deserved to go through on #TheChase simply for singing a South Park song!" one tweeted.

A second penned: "Well I sang the song too Raza, let them share their condescending looks, I'm with you hun!*! #TheChase"

The question was: "A traditional dreidel is decorated with what?"

Raza answered the question quickly before Paul, choosing the correct answer "Hebrew letters."

Bradley was baffled by Raza's singing and asked: "What are you singing?" to which Paul said, "Whatever happens, I really like you Raza."

Another wrote: "#TheChase go team go. So want you to won. Love #Raza."

Raza had luckily beat The Sinnerman, taking £7,000 to the cash fund.

Unfortunately, the team made up of Derrick, Sarah and Raza lost their £14,000 prize fund after losing in the final chase.

Despite catching the contestants, Paul left them with some kind words and said: "You have my sympathy and respect."
