The Chase's Bradley Walsh grinds show to a halt and issues complaint after 'ludicrous' question | The Sun

THE Chase's Bradley Walsh was forced to stop the ITV gameshow and make a complaint to his team after a contestant was asked a bizarre question.

The former EastEnder's star, 63, welcomed players Janine, Eli, Thomas, and Carol into the studio. They were all hoping to win a sizable sum of money.

Thomas had amassed £5,000 in his cashbuilder, but as he faced chaser Mark "The Beast" Labbett in the next round, things spiralled out of control.

He was given the question: "Which of these actions can humans not do underwater?", with a choice of answers "See", "Smell," and "Hear".

Bradley burst out laughing before saying, "I was hoping also breathe would come up…"

Mark and the rest of the studio began to laugh before Bradley exclaimed, "A ludicrous question!"

Luckily the player properly identified it as "Smell".

Bradley then cautioned his younger audience, saying, "I have to say, kids, don't try that at home."

He then paused the show for a minute and slammed the question in front of the players and cameras, calling it "ludicrous," and he wasn't shy to insult whoever thought of it.

Thomas, was the only player who managed to get to the final round.
