Unfortunately, this has been listed as the final ever season of The Crown so fans shouldn’t expect a seventh outing.
Creator Peter Morgan previously told Variety that he could one day return to the royals but instead go “back in time” to explore a different era of the family.
However, for now at least, this is the beginning of the end for the hit royal series.
The Crown season 6 part 2 premieres on Thursday, December 14, on Netflix.
