Alison Hammond has announced that she and her This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary will be stepping down from their hosting duties for the summer months.
While hosting Thursday's episode (July 21) of the popular ITV daytime programme, Alison, 47, announced the news that left some fans speculating about a secret "feud" between her and Dermot, 49.
Others however were excited over the fact that Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark will returning to the show to co-host from next week.

As the much-loved pairing introduced the show and told viewers what was in store for Thursday's show, neither of them could believe what the day was.
Completely taken aback, Alison realised that it was the "penultimate day" for the duo – before Ruth and Rylan return to their posts.
She told Dermot and viewers at home: "This is our penultimate day, and then we're on holiday aren't we?"
Dermot nodded in agreement before Alison put on a sarcastic voice and said: "Oh, what a shame," before letting out a huge burst of laughter.
Fans were quick to flock to social media when they heard the news.
"Aw I don't mind Alison and Dermot! But they aren't Rylan and Ruth it's nearly party time," penned one fan on Twitter.
Another added: "Only one more day to go."
"Looking forward to Ruth and Rylan," echoed a third.
While a fourth speculated that Alison and Dermot don't get on: "These two don’t like each other."
This comes as it was claimed that the two have been hiding their real relationship from viewers, after it was reported by MailOnline that they struggled to "hit it off" and have been "bickering" behind the scenes.

But this was all recently cleared up when a This Morning spokesman lifted the lid on the duo's relationship away from the show they both host together.
Speaking to The Mirror, the insider said: "Alison and Dermot have developed a firm friendship and their chemistry has proved a ratings success. Since the pandemic ended, the pair are able to enjoy socialising together post the show."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVHub
