Yellowstone returned with episode five titled Watch ‘Em Ride Away and it saw John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) and the ranchers head out on a branding trip. As the end credits rolled, a title card was dedicated to Timothy Reynolds saying: “In memory of Timothy Reynolds”. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about the star.

Who is Timothy Reynolds from Yellowstone?

The action-packed episode saw the feud between Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo) come to a head.

As Summer was invited to a family dinner at the Dutton ranch, Beth decided she’d had enough of the games.

As the episode drew to a close, it was dedicated to the loving memory of Timothy Reynolds.

Tim was a technician who worked on the series as an electrician and best boy.

He was born in October 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and started off his career as a stockbroker.

Over time he realised his passion was in working in the entertainment industry.

His first role was as a theatre stage hand and he broke out into film in 1997, in a TV movie called Not in This Town.

His other credits include Meet the Deedles, John Carter and Don’t Come Knocking.

The star was on Instagram and when he joined the crew for Yellowstone, he called it his “dream job”.

He was humble about his career despite working with some huge names including Johnny Depp and Mark Wahlberg.

Tim joined the cast of Yellowstone for the first episode and continued to work on the series until the second episode of season four.

He died in August 2022, at the age of 66, but his cause of death has not been shared.

He has a sister called Shirley and a wife called Sierra and had a number of children and grandsons.

At the time of his death, his Yellowstone colleagues paid tribute to the star.

Fellow electrician Caleb Rasak said on Instagram: “Tim (Senior) was my best friend and a father figure to me.
