Tipping Point viewers were left stunned after a “beautiful” player appeared to be too young to appear on the ITV show.

The popular gameshow, which sees players gamble coins into the machine to win money, welcomed four new contestants on tonight’s episode, with player Joni standing alongside rival players Ange, Asone and Steve.

But as the physics student from Nottingham soared ahead in the competition in the first round, fans were left questioning her appearance on the show, with fans saying she looked like she was “12-years-old.”

#TippingPoint Joni I thought you had to be 18 to gamble?” said one viewer.

“Joni looks about 12,” said another.

A third blasted: “That girl look about 12!” while a fourth joked: “Joni is smashing it on #tippingpoint, and she's only on their cos her school is shut due to the snow! Putting the elders to shame.”

Fans were quick to compliment the player's gameplay too as she played a stunning first round. She secured more than £1,000 with a few lucky counters.

Asone was knocked out in the first round, with Steve not far behind him in the second round leaving the two ladies to go head to head to win a place in the final. But before long Ange was also sent home empty handed leaving Joni to try and win the prize pot.

In a nail-biting final, Joni’s £10k counter hung very close over the tipping point.

When asked if she’d like to take the £3400 she had banked of risk losing it all to win the jackspot, she decided not to take the risk and keep her hard earned money.

She was disappointed to learn that her counter did in fact drop and win her £10k when she played out the swap anyway, leaving her gutted.

“That was the most obvious trade to take, literally hanging over the edge #tippingpoint,” blasted one player.

Another agreed: “How do you not take the trade there?! Perfect position!”
