TOM Daley's husband Dustin Lance Black is facing trial accused of attacking a woman in a nightclub row.
The screenwriter allegedly chucked a drink over Teddy Edwardes, 32, who is a host of BBC3 show The Big Proud Party Agency.
Dustin, 48, appeared via videolink at Westminster Magistrates' Court today where he denied assault by beating.
The director, who wore a navy top and black glasses, gave his address as Los Angeles.
A trial date was set for August 8 with the star released on unconditional bail.
Dustin allegedly got into the dispute with Unbreakable star Teddy at Freedom nightclub in London in August last year.

Teddy later posted on social media claiming she was the one booted out of the club.

The nightclub promoter added: "I have to add that Tom Daley was lovely throughout he was just trying to defuse the situation."
