Towie star fuels feud as he slams co-stars for ‘faking relationships’ for airtime and reveals he’s QUITTING show | The Sun

TOWIE star Junaid Ahmed has taken a swipe at his co-stars for "faking relationships" for airtime.

The TV favourite, 28, who has been at the centre of this series' drama, also revealed that he plans to quit the show in the near future.

During an Instagram Q&A, one fan asked: "Are people friends away from the show? Or is it just for the show?"

Junaid responded: "Hahaha a lot of 'friendships' are just for the show. Away from the show, half the cast don't ever see each other.

"My best friends in real life are Dani [Imbert] and Chloe [Brockett] and that's what you see on the show."

Meanwhile, Junaid also addressed his future on the show, saying he has plans to quit the ITVBe show next year.

Another follower was keen to know: "Do you see yourself on Towie for a long time? Have you got other stuff coming up?"

The Essex star spilled the beans and said: "Definitely not! I love Towie but I'd probably do another series or two and then focus on other stuff."

He added: "I've got some very exciting projects coming up. I would never want to be someone on the show that's on it for like 10 years and rely on the show.

"It's a great platform but I've got to spread my wings honey."

It comes after Junaid had a falling out with best pal Ella Rae Wise and Harry Derbidge on the latest episodes.

Never one to hold back, Junaid recently launched an attack on his co-stars branding them "liars" amid a blistering feud on the brand new series.

He said: "I've just watched the first episode of the new series and honestly, the pure delusion in certain people and the lies that have been said and the stories that have been made up – literally, it's laughable at this point."

Junaid went onto refer that some unaired tension is still brewing between himself, Dani and some of the other cast as he admitted there were things the pair had been forbidden to mention.

It wasn't entirely clear who Junaid was referring to when he discussed how he had been told that he could not reveal the entire truth.

He added: "I'm not the one who was the whole cause of this, the whole argument was between the two of them, [Dani and Ella] the whole fallout was to do with them.

"I don't know how I've been brought into it so much and been made the problem, when the real problem is – and everyone knows, if we actually spoke the truth, was on Dani's stories last night.

"Honestly, just remember there is two sides to every story and there is a lot that we can't sit there and say but I'm not gonna sit there and take s***, when, it's hilarious. Actually hilarious."

He appeared to be referring to a post on Dani's Instagram story where she received a 'trolling' message from former The Circle star Freddie Bentley which read: "Trampy gals attract trampy gals."
