Towie star reveals ‘normal job’ after quitting show – but leaves fans horrified | The Sun

FORMER Towie star Amber Dowding has reimagined herself as a TikTok influencer after being axed from the reality series in 2018.

She regularly posts about fashion, skincare, dogs and food on the social media site, and one upload in particular has gone more viral than any other.

Over 2.5million people have watched Amber's short video showing her making a "perfect" meal for kids.

But not everyone was a fan of the quick and easy fish pie, mainly due to the inclusion of one ingredient.

She liberally applies mayo over fish fingers in a mixing bowl before adding grated cheese and peas.

One viewer commented: "The thought of warming Mayo up knocks me sick."

Another said: "why mayo why."

A third wrote: "how much fricking mayo do you need??"

A layer of mashed potato and cheese slices are added before it goes into the oven for 30 minutes.

Amber, who is in a long-term relationship with Jamie Enver, was with Towie co-star Chris Clark when they were both axed as part of a major cast reshuffle.

The romance fizzled out weeks later, but it wasn't long before Amber found Mr Right in the form of Jamie.

Speaking to the Sun about her exit from the show at the time, Amber said: “We had a meeting and it was a mutual feeling that it was time to move on. I've got nothing but respect for the cast and crew.”

She continued: “Chris and I are in a really good place. We all come to a time in our lives when you're looking for what is coming next.

“I'll miss the people on the show, I have genuine friends on Towie. Like Tommy and Georgia – they're my genuine friends. I'll miss seeing them on screen but I see them all the time anyway.

“In fact, there's nothing I won't NOT miss, but I'm looking forward to what's coming next.”
