Vanessa Feltz gave a candid TV interview on Wednesday's This Morning after her shock split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu after 16 years.
The presenter, 60, admitted she feels "humiliated" and "can't sleep" but is vowing to look on the positive side.
It comes as Vanessa confirmed her split over the weekend with Ben breaking his silence earlier this week.
Vanessa said on Wednesday: "I think I'm feeling just like anyone else would after the end of a 16 year relationship, which I had my heart and soul in.
"I believed wholeheartedly in it and so when you have to end a relationship, it is very hard. I'm feeling it just like anybody else."
Vanessa admitted she "can't sleep at all" but was grateful for everyone's support and messages, which she reads in the "middle of the night".
