So, it’s no wonder subscribers are keen for the next season to land on the streamer as soon as possible.

Virgin River season five, part two is going to be released on Thursday, November 30, on Netflix.

This means UK fans will be treated to the same episodes as their American counterparts from 8am BST (British Summer Time).

Virgin River season five proved to be a dramatic affair with wildfires nearly destroying the Northern California community.

The natural disaster ravaged the nearby towns but thanks to some quick-thinking from Brady (played by Ben Hollingsworth), Virgin River was saved.

However, not everyone escaped the fires unscathed after Denny Cutler (Kai Bradbury) and Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) were surrounded on all sides by the flames before being saved. Nonetheless, the trauma lingered for the couple.

Sadly, Lilly Anderson’s (Lynda Boyd) farm was destroyed in the fire and her family left Virgin River and planned to sell the property.

Moreover, Lilly’s daughter Ava Anderson (Libby Osler) also got caught in the flames along with baby Chloe and it was only thanks to Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) the pair were rescued in time.

After this near-miss, baby Chloe was taken away from Virgin River, extinguishing hopes Mel and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) might care for the infant.

While Ava planned to go under the knife and have a hysterectomy to deal with her endometriosis, her sister Tara (Stacey Farber) left Virgin River and took baby Chloe with her.

Baby Chloe’s short life to date has been incredibly hard after she was initially abandoned by her mother Lilly, who was suffering from post-natal depression.

Then, Lilly later died from an aggressive form of cancer with her daughter becoming the primary caregiver to her younger sister Chloe.

There were hopes Mel might adopt Chloe and get her happy ending of having a child but this now seems to have come to an end.

Mel and Chloe developed a bond with the nurse practitioner naming the infant after her sister, who sadly died as a baby.
