WHAM! legend Andrew Ridgeley says he wants to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The pop icon has his eyes on winning the famous glitterball trophy.
And he admitted he would “never say no” to becoming a celebrity contestant on the hit BBC show.
The 60-year-old even knows who he wants to partner up with. In a message to Strictly professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, he pleaded: “I’m Your Man.”
Andrew – who shot to superstardom with late bandmate George Michael, inset, in the 1980s – said: “I would love to be able to dance properly.
“I would love to jive, I would love to cha-cha-cha, and I would love to foxtrot or American Smooth, quickstep.
“I’m not saying no to Strictly. I probably would (do it). My greatest fear would be not being able to remember the steps. As long as Nadiya was guiding me.”
The heartthrob explained that his dance dream was inspired by a visit to a Salsa club on holiday abroad with pals. He said there “were all these chaps, none of whom were particularly handsome, in the clinch with these unbelievably good looking girls and I was thinking, ‘yes, that’s the idea, I’ve missed a trick there’.”
Andrew revealed his Strictly hopes to Jo Whiley on Radio 2. The BBC presenter later tweeted: “YES. You heard it here first!”
Fans were also delighted by the suggestion. One wrote on Twitter: “We NEED to make this happen, he would be brilliant.”
Another added: “I can just imagine a salsa to the song Club Tropicana."
This comes after the star has just released a documentary titled WHAM! and fans have gone wild for it.
There has been a lot of hype on social media about it with many fans tweeting about it.
One wrote: "What's really striking about the Wham! documentary is just how big they were on the back of so little material. Barely two albums' worth of songs and nearly every single one could have been a top ten hit or actually was. That's astonishing."
A second added: "That Wham! documentary was interesting, George Michael could sing his a** off forreal"
While a third penned: "They should’ve never let a boy like me see the wham! documentary i’m going insane now"
