TIMES have been hard for Ryan Connor as he adapts to a new life following his acid attack.
Coronation Street fans are fearing another catfishing twist for the hunk after his storyline took an X-rated turn.
What happened to Ryan Connor in Coronation Street?
Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) was maimed in an acid attack whilst protecting Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) who was being stalked by a man named Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still).
The horrific scenes played out on Daisy's wedding day to Daniel (Rob Mallard).
The troubled character grew infatuated with Daisy after initially meeting her at the hospital during her cancer scare.
Soon after first bumping into her, Justin followed Daisy around the cobbles but she always tried to push him away and even attempted to get a Stalking Protection Order against him.

Daisy eventually managed to get Justin away from her when he was arrested for assault after she'd lured him into a private conversation with her.
Unfortunately, Justin retaliated and, in shocking scenes, he came back to Weatherfield to get his revenge.
At the time, Daisy was getting ready for her wedding with Danielin the Rovers and Ryan was asked to drive her to the church for the big day.
The pair were shocked when Justin showed up in the Rovers Return Innwith a glass of acid in hand, prepared to attack Daisy.

Justin aimed to throw the acid at Daisy, stating nobody would want her after his attack – but Ryan ended up being Justin's victim.
Ryan sustained life-changing injuries from the acid attack, which occurred just as he was dreaming of heading off to Ibiza for his DJ career.
The waiter has sustained life-changing scars after undergoing several skin grafts and he has struggled to adapt to his new appearance.
This was only made worse when he was rejected by his former girlfriend Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) with whom he was looking forward to reconcile.
And when his Ibiza love interest Crystal made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him, Daisy took it upon herself to catfish Ryan in an attempt to lift his spirits.
However, when he found out, this only pushed his self-esteem to plummet even further, particularly as his bond with Daisy was taking a more romantic turn despite her relationship with Daniel Osbourne.

Who is Ryan's client Liv in Coronation Street?
Actor Ryan Prescott teased his on-screen recovery as viewers of the Manchester-based drama were worried he could be leaving the cobbles behind for good.
"It’ll change his life forever. It will change the way he interacts with the world and the recovery", the soap star said to Metro.co.uk.
"The difficulty within the parameters of soap is to show some kind of reality that comes with the longevity of what it means to be an acid attack survivor. The recovery period is so long, if not lifelong."
Ryan Connor did take a break from Weatherfield following Daisy's catfishing and paid his mother Michelle a visit in Dublin.
Unlike her, however, he eventually returned, determined to put the past behind him.
Unfortunately, this led him to turn to steroids as he tried to take control of his appearance and overcome his new insecurities.
But after seeking solace on social media, Ryan turned to online sex work in scenes aired on Monday, August 21, 2023.
During this recent trip to the cobbles, Ryan received a flirtatious DM from a woman named Liv and he was taken aback when she asked him to send her explicit shots of himself.
"U know you can earn mega ££££ from doing this stuff. You need to upload your photos onto Ovidz. It’s easy money", she told him.
"Seriously you could make a killing. I’m more than happy to pay you."
Ryan took her up on her offer while, off-screen, soap fans became convinced he'll soon be set for another setback.
Viewers took to social media as they believed they'd rumbled Liv's true identity.
"Would not surprise me if the person Ryan is talking to is Daisy again – she's done it before", one fan speculated.
Other viewers threw in the theory that Ryan's mystery correspondent could be a man.
"Liv is a man, Ryan don't you learn", a second viewer complained while another shared: "Oh here we go again. Secret web cam tripe. Does Ryan realise he's messaging a guy. Think man, think. Keep your clothes on or regret it."
