How long has Carol Kirkwood been a weather presenter?
Kirkwood joined the BBC as a freelance reported in 1993 after graduating with a BA in commerce from Napier College of Commerce and Technology in Edinburgh.
She was then trained by the Met Office and became a weather presenter.
In 1998, she joined BBC News as a weather presenter and eventually went on to become the main weather presenter on BBC Breakfast.

The presenter has also appeared as a guest on CBBC's show Hacker Time.
