IT'S BEEN nothing but drama, drama, drama on EastEnders since Cindy Beale made her incredible return to Walford.
But now fans are keen to know more about her mysterious daughter Cindy Jr's father Nick Holland.
Who is Nick Holland?
EastEnders character Nick Holland made his first appearance on November 11, 1997, and he is the ex-fiancé of Cindy Beale and father to her daughter Cindy Jr.
They met in Italy while she was on the run after hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband Ian Beale.
Nick and Cindy became lovers, and she soon became pregnant with their child.
However, her scorned ex Ian soon tracked her down and took their children back to England.

Nick tried to help Cindy and came with her back to Walford with her to get custody of her children.
What happened to Nick Holland?
During Cindy's custody battle she was arrested for the attempted murder of Ian.
After this Nick realised what she was really like, and returned to Italy after the trial ended.
Cindy later "died" while giving birth to a baby girl in prison and she was named Cindy Jr as a mark of respect, but Nick never returned for his daughter.

This lead to her grandmother Bev and aunt Gina taking her to be raised in Devon.
It later turned out that Cindy had faked her own death and assumed the new identity of Rose Knight.
It came after she entered into witness protection from a plea bargain, having made a deal in prison to give information against her inmate Jackie Ford.
Cindy did this in order to avoid a sentence of her own for conspiring to kill Ian.
The character Nick Holland made his last appearance on EastEnders on April 10, 1998.
Who played Nick Holland in EastEnders?
Nick Holland was played by actor Dominic Taylor.
He studied his craft at Bristol's Old Vic Theatre School.
Dominic is best known for his stage work in The Bodyguard, South Pacific, and An Inspector Calls.
Along with EastEnders, his other screen credits include Doctors, and Coupling.
