Who is Jorja Smith?
Jorja Smith was born in Walsall, West Midlands, on June 11, 1997.
She was classically trained as a vocalist during secondary school and independently released numerous singles and one extended play, Project 11, in 2016.
Jorja – who is 5ft 6in – released her first single, Blue Lights in 2016 when she was just 18.
In January 2018 she won the Brit Critics' Choice Award, which is an award given by the British Phonographic Industry. Previous winners include Adele, Florence and the Machine, Sam Smith and Rag'n'Bone Man.
Jorja previously told the Evening Standard: “I want to be worldwide, international, in everyone’s ears, and everyone listening to what I’m saying, because I think I say some good stuff.
"I want to be someone for young girls to look up to, for fathers to want their daughters to listen to me because I’m not rude and I’m actually talking some sense.”
She's also performed and collaborated with Stormzy, with the musician's being close friends and also sharing the same manager.
Jorja then walked away with the BRIT award for Best British Female Solo Artist in 2019.
What happened with Jorja Smith and Stormzy?
The Sun exclusively revealed that Stormzy and presenter Maya Jama had split in 2019 after four years together.
Twitter was rife with fans claiming the Shut Up rapper had become involved with Jorja, but a representative for the stars has categorically denied the accusations.
They told Metro: "I can confirm any accusations or reports surrounding Stormzy’s infidelity to Maya are categorically not true."
Who else has Jorja Smith dated?
Jorja began dating singer-song writer Joel Compass in September 2017.
Though the pair – who co-wrote Jorja's song The One – were thought to be engaged, the relationship came to an end in 2019.
Joel confirmed their split on Instagram after a fan commented about rumours Jorja had been seen kissing rapper Stormzy.
'We split time ago', the star replied.
Back in April 2017, it was rumoured that Jorja was dating Drake, but it seems their relationship is purely professional.
Jorja hasn't mentioned having a boyfriend since her split from Joel and her social media doesn't seem to feature one either.
It's therefore thought that the singer is single at the moment.

What is Jorja Smith known for?
Jorja is best known for her song Blue Lights and On My Mind.
Her song Where Did I Go? which she also released in 2016, was chosen by Drake as his favourite track of the moment in an article which featured in Entertainment Weekly.
She also appeared on two tracks on Drake's 2017 album More Life.
Jorja has also released hits including Let Me Down, Get It Together and I Am, which is the soundtrack for the film Black Panther.
