Following the passing of his beloved wife, Vince Hill was left devasted.

In 2017, the late singer told the Express: ''Her death left a huge void – I was just in a daze.

He continued: ''It was a terrible time. I spent time talking to friends and neighbours in the pub – they don’t mind when it gets too much. Other people are going through so much too and being able to talk about it really helps.''

Discussing Annie's funeral, Vince added: ''I was too distraught to sing but I played a song she’d loved – I’ll Be Seeing You.

''Annie was my strictest critic but also my biggest fan. I thought her passing would be the end of the road but talking to people and getting back on the treadmill has been my way forward. She would love that.''
