Who won The Great British Bake Off 2023? | The Sun

THE Great British Bake Off has now crowned a new winner.

A dozen bakers kicked off the competition, but only one could take home the title of Bake Off 2023 champion.

Who won The Great British Bake Off 2023?

The Great British Bake Off saw twelve bakers face 30 challenges over 10 episodes for the show’s fourteenth season.

This Channel 4 series saw the amateur bakers tackling everything from the iconic chocolate raspberry cake from the series titles, to an edible chocolate box, to custard cream biscuits, to a picnic basket.

The grand final (November 28, 2023) saw finalists Dan, Josh and Matty face a jaw dropping choux pastry Signature, a blast from the past with a sticky Technical and the ultimate Showstopper celebration cake.

However, there can only be one winner, and it was down to new host Alison Hammond to read out judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith’s verdict.

“I am happy for them as much as I am for me. It still doesn’t feel real!”

The champion added: ‘I so admired my fellow finalists Josh and Dan, and I think the three boys at the final were naturally competitive but also we were all supportive of each other.

I don’t think there was anyone of us would have begrudged the winner, whoever it was.

“We had all got a Hollywood handshake, had all been Star Baker twice and all got to the Final so I think we all achieved what we wanted.
