As usual, they won't be the only singletons heading into the villa for the winter show, with bombshells ready and rearing to come in and cause chaos as they fight for their spot in the final.
But who will be appearing on our TV screens this summer?
Kai Fagan
Hunky teacher Kai from Manchester will be heading into the villa to learn all about love this summer.
The 24-year-old hunk is a science and PE teacher and said he's been "looking for the right girl" – but has very high expectations
Tanya Manhenga
Tanya, from Liverpool, is the first person to be confirmed in the brand new series of Love Island as she said ahead of her arrival that she's hoping being in the villa will help her work out what kind of boyfriend she wants.
She also revealed that she has Vitiligo, a skin pigmentation, which she said is on her lip and gives her a stripe in her hair – something she thinks is "quite cute" and is "a vibe".
Outside of the show she is a student in biomedical science and also has quite the social media following and works as an influencer.
For some, the show has merely been a stop into finding their partner outside of the realm of reality TV, but for others, they well and truly met their match.
One couple who have stayed together after their time on the show is the winners of the first ever Winter Love Island in 2020 – Paige Turley and Finley Tapp.
And they're not the only Winter Love Island stars who managed to make things work on the outside, with Callum Jones and Molly Smith going from strength to strength, alongside Nas Majeed and Eva Zapico.
The Winter Love Island series has been one of the more successful in terms of couples staying together – but will it be second time lucky for the new cast?
Couples will need to see if they can surpass challenges set to test their boundaries with the famous Casa Amor, which sees the boys and girls split and partnered with new people, being the most famous and beloved part of the show.
Those who are together after Casa Amor stand the highest chance of making it to the final and bagging the impressive £50k cash prize.
One brand new shake-up for the winter series includes host Maya Jama, who is stepping into the shoes of Laura Whitmore, who announced her departure after the summer series.
Maya will make her Love Island debut in the launch show next week.
Love Island returns on January 16 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
