FANS of Worst House on the Street were left livid over one of the property experts' suggested changes to a home.

The Channel 4 series, which is hosted by siblings and property developers Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, was in Bristol this week.

Viewers were introduced to Sana, a trainee solicitor who had just bought a run-down terraced property.

The home was falling apart with rotting windows, damp, and it needed a new roof.

Sana was desperate to get things going with the renovation, as she was living at her parents' place in the box room.

She also had to work full time from that same room, joking that she had a very short commute.

Visiting the property for the first time. Scarlett looked at the property's small front garden and said: "Do you know what, I do love a front garden, but here, it would make so much more sense to turn that into a drive wouldn't it?"

Her brother agreed: "Yeah, that needs to be sorted out".

Those tuning into the show didn't agree with this at all, calling the suggestion "dangerous".

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Front gardens turned into driveways? Great way to increase flooding. Bad bad bad."

"And people wonder why their properties flood now."

"You have a responsibility to discuss climate change and flood risk."

A few months on, Sana had completed her renovation, and the house looked incredible.

Fit with a gorgeous home office, it was the perfect cosy space for her to enjoy.

And much to the delight of viewers, she didn't turn the front garden into a driveway, and instead just sorted out the garden.

After evaluating how much the property was worth after the renovation, Scarlette revealed Sana had made a profit of £24,000.

This was despite her going over her original budget by a whopping £43,000 due to unexpected costs. This took her overall budget to £73,000.

She was overjoyed, having just stated that she wouldn't be fazed if she hadn't made any profit, as this was a long term investment for her.
