Yellowstones Luke Grimes announces new career move with giant talent

Yellowstone is currently on a break from season five but fans are keen to know what the cast are up to while filming is on pause.

Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, has thrilled fans by revealing he has recorded a new version of his song Hold On.

Taking to Instagram, he posted a black and white image of himself walking in the country and carrying his hat as he looked down at the floor.

He captioned the shot: “Over the last few years there arent many people whose music has resonated with me as much as @foyvance.

“Hes a giant talent and a master truth teller. I will forever be grateful that we were able to collaborate on this song. Hold On ft. Foy Vance is out now.” (sic)

Yellowstone fans were thrilled with the news as Caribaxl commented: “Wow every time I listen to this I love it, I have all the versions in my playlist. Greetings from Argentina.”

Donnita_friberg added: “Congratulations I’m so happy for you. You’ve worked hard to achieve this and deserve to enjoy your new career as a singer.”

Sarahfaith888 posted: “Love your music and your acting! Happiness for beginners is my favourite movie at the moment lol.

“Can’t wait to see you again in Yellowstone (whenever new episodes are getting released).”

It comes after Luke gave an update on filming for the remainder of season five, explain the cast are yet to get anything shot.

“We have not [started filming the second half of season five] because of the writers’ strike,” he told People.

“I think we would be if it weren’t for that. But that takes precedence over everything.

“They got to get that all sorted, and then we’ll be getting after it.”

Luke’s comments put to bed rumours Kevin Costner’s busy schedule has impacted production as he films new series Horizon and goes through a divorce from Christine Baumgartner.

Yellowstone seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Paramount Plus.
