The family of a 10-year-old boy who was scarred for life after his skin was ripped off in a vicious dog attack are suing the beast's owners.
Giorgi Fulbirg-Taylor was set upon by the terrier-type breed as he played football with his older brother and their friends in a park in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Giorgi is likely to need surgery as he grows and counselling to deal with the after effects of the shocking attack, according to lawyers representing him.

The dog bounded over and burst his football, causing the group to scarper, only for the beast to chase them before the animal locked onto Giorgi's left arm.
The Mirror reports that Giorgi's family has now instructed specialist lawyers Slee Blackwell Solicitors to represent him as he starts his civil claim against the dog's owners.
"It is a complex thing in terms of recovery because Giorgi is still growing, there is no quick fix at all with children," James McNally, head of the firm’s personal injury department and leading national dog bite solicitor, told the Mirror.
"Giorgi will need to be seen by a plastic surgeon and a psychiatrist, to deal with the impact it can have on him, the fear of dogs, the social impact of not wanting to go outdoors to avoid being in that situation again, and being impacted every time he sees a dog.
"He isn't just going to need surgery now, it could be again at 16 or 18 as he grows."

Giorgi suffered injuries on most of his limbs and has scarring to his abdomen too.
Mr McNally, who is known as 'The Dog Bite Solicitor', gave expert testimony to the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Commons Select Committee in 2018 when the government was looking at reforms to the Dangerous Dogs Act.
"With terrier-type dogs, like the one that attacked Giorgi, they are bred to go down holes and get rabbits. They get hold of them, grab them by the neck and shake them," he said.
West Yorkshire Police has confirmed a destruction order is being sorted for the dog, which is currently being kept in a shelter.
A file has been passed to the CPS in relation to a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, both from Bradford.
