Caitlyn Jenner blasts trans activists who attacked Riley Gaines

‘They are domestic terrorists’: Caitlyn Jenner blasts trans activists who attacked swimmer Riley Gaines as the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’ and says Joe Biden is trying to ‘erase women in sports’

  • Caitlyn Jenner, 73, called out the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’ who attacked swimmer Riley Gaines and sent her into hiding at San Francisco University on Thursday
  • Jenner referred to the assailants as the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’ who are giving a bad reputation to the transgender community
  • Both Jenner and Gaines have openly supported banning those born as males from women’s sports

Caitlyn Jenner slammed trans activists who attacked swimmer Riley Gaines as the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’ – as she claimed Joe Biden is erasing ‘women in sports’ by allowing transgender females compete in women’s leagues.

Jenner, 73, appeared on Fox News on Saturday to defend the 22-year-old swimmer, after Gaines was punched twice in a terrifying attack led by trans activists at San Francisco State University following a talk on saving women’s rights last week.

Gaines, who is an open proponent of banning those born as male from women’s sports, previously told DailyMail.com she was forced to barricade herself for three hours from a vengeful mob of around 100 protesters.

The transgender reality star blasted the assailants for giving a bad name to the transgender community, referring to them as ‘terrorists.’

‘I think it’s disgusting and it’s so bad. It’s such bad publicity for the trans community, There are so many good people out there. But I call this the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia.’ They are left-wing activists. They are domestic terrorists,’ Jenner said.

The former Olympic star supports transgender rights and ‘fairness’ but has openly supported banning those born as males from women’s sports.

Jenner later added that the US will kill female leagues if officials allow trans females that were born male to compete.

She specifically pinpointed President Joe Biden for trying to ‘erase women’ while insisting she is for fairness and not ‘equality.’

‘Joe Biden is trying to erase women. He’s trying to erase women in sports because if he gets through what he’s trying to get through, it’ll be the end of women in sports. And that’s a shame because women’s sports have come so far in this country and Joe Biden is trying to kill it,’ Jenner said.

‘I mean, we’re trying to do everything to make women’s sports better and fair because this is about fairness. I’m about fairness, not equality… not equity.’

In 2015, Jenner, who says she is a conservative-leaning libertarian, publicly came out as a trans woman in a Vanity Fair article titled: ‘Call Me Caitlyn.’

Jenner famously won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal as Bruce. She also won gold in the same competition at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.

At the time of the attack, the former University of Kentucky swimmer was giving a speech on women’s rights

Jenner appears to be a strong advocate for women and recently slammed Nike for using trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney to promote its sports bras years after the company poorly treated model Allyson Felix when she became pregnant.

Mulvaney, 26, posed for a series of pictures and videos promoting the brand’s sports bra and leggings.

The TikTok star identifies as a woman and uses the pronouns ‘she/they’ but has not yet had gender reassignment surgery.

Jenner didn’t shy away from sharing her opinion on Twitter on Thursday and blasted the partnership as an ‘outrage.’

She wrote: ‘As someone that grew up in awe of what [Nike founder and former CEO] Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke!

‘We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage.’

Jenner added that she didn’t blame Mulvaney for accepting the deal, saying: ‘A little context…I did a collab with H&M (I have done many athletic brand collabs over the years as a successful athlete). I don’t blame Dylan (smart move).

‘I did not like how Nike treated Allyson Felix when she became pregnant. I spoke on the outrage of disparity in their pay’

Felix, who is a ten-time Olympic medallist, left Nike in 2019 after it failed to guarantee the value of her contract when she became pregnant, she alleges.

Jenner has never been shy in publicly talking about her feelings regarding trans women competing against biological females.

In August, she slammed trans swimmer Lia Thomas for wanting to compete at the Olympics, saying she has ‘a tremendous advantage over the girls’.

The former Olympic champion criticized Thomas’s desire to race against female swimmers, saying ‘we have to keep it fair for women’.

She added it was ‘just not fair’ on other competitors given she has already gone through puberty as a male, and her Olympic quest ‘the trans community look selfish’.

Thomas, who transitioned from a man to a woman while she was in college, has been criticized for competing in female swimming events after undergoing hormone replacement therapy.

Jenner previously spoke out about Thomas in March 2022 and slammed her record-breaking victories at college swim meets, which sparked claims the trans athlete had an extreme advantage as a result of going through male puberty.

Jenner told DailyMail.com last year: ‘I respect her right to transition and I hope she has a wonderful, wonderful life. But she grew up as a biological boy and I don’t think it’s fair that she’s competing in women’s sports.’

Jenner continued: ‘Three years earlier, she was on the men’s team ranked 462; now she’s No. 1 in the same event for women? Obviously, it’s not fair.’
