Child 'heard screaming for help from moving car' as cops launch urgent hunt for driver of 'large vehicle' | The Sun

COPS have launched an urgent hunt after a child was heard screaming for help from a moving car.

Police officers are going door-to-door to track down the driver and child after the horror report yesterday in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Despite a search of the area, no trace of the car or child has been found yet.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called by a resident on Rodborough Common who had heard what sounded like a child calling from a large car as it drove past at around 9.30pm last night."

"Despite a search of the area and a number of enquiries at houses in the vicinity, no trace of the car or child has been found."

Officers particularly want to speak to those in the car to find out what has happened and make sure everyone is safe.
