Convicted rapists could be STOPPED from early release in Rishi Sunak crime crackdown | The Sun

CONVICTED rapists could be forced to serve full sentences behind bars under a crime crackdown being mulled by Rishi Sunak.

The PM wants to change the law to stop Britain's most serious sex offenders being eligible for early release.

The move would form part of a major comeback operation launched by No10 to turn the polls around for the Tories.

It would follow a string of "red meat" policy announcements, including a delay to banning petrol and diesel cars and banning vapes and fags.

Mr Sunak will set out his full no holds barred vision for the country at a major speech at Tory conference in Manchester next Wednesday.

The PM is expected to reveal plans to rip up A-Levels and replace it with an English Baccalaureate, which will require all pupils to take English and maths until 18.

Insiders say the pledge will prevent a “politically suicidal” backlash from traditional Tory-supporting OAPs before next year’s election, after fears the lock could be watered down.

In 2017 Shuck was convicted of the rape and kidnap of an elderly woman and the sexual assault of another woman just weeks after being let out of prison halfway through an eight-year for a different rape.
