Denver weather today: Wednesday temperatures heat up

Above-normal temperatures begin Wednesday and will continue through Friday before the weekend cool down.

The high temperature Wednesday is 85 degrees, and there will be some fire danger across the northeast plains as humidity drops to about 15%.

Wednesday’s low temperature is 54 degrees, and the low will continue to drop each day until it gets to the high 40s Saturday.

Thursday and Friday will both see temperatures reach the low to mid 80s.

Thursday has a slight 10% chance of seeing storms after noon, and Friday still has the highest possibility with a 50% chance of showers and storms before midnight.

The weekend cool down to look forward to will see temperatures drop to the low 70s, about normal for this time of year, and storm coverage will increase across the area.
