‘He will be great someday’ Donald Trump gives teen son Barron a VERY gracious shoutout during his post-indictment speech – complimenting how ‘tall and smart’ he is

  • Trump made a point to call out his children in his post arraignment speech Tuesday night
  • He said his children Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany are doing great things and noted that Barron ‘will be great someday’
  • The 17-year-old son of the former president was noticeably absent from the rally at Mar-a-Lago, as was his mother, Melania

In his post-indictment speech on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump gave his teen son Barron a very gracious shoutout.

Addressing his family in the crowd at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said his children Donald Jr. Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany are doing great things.

He then noted that Barron ‘will be great someday,’ noting that his 17-year-old son is ‘tall and smart!’

The former president’s teenage son was not in the crowd as Trump gave his first address following his arraignment Tuesday morning, nor was his wife Melania, who have maintained a low profile since Trump left office in 2021.

Also notably absent was his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who worked with Trump in the White House, but said earlier this year they were taking a step back from politics.

Notably absent from Trump’s speech Tuesday night were Barron, right, and Melania, center. They are pictured here at the funeral of Ivana Trump in July

In his speech Tuesday night, Trump made a point to single out his children: ‘I have a son here who’s done a great job, and another who’s done a great job.

‘And Tiffany, and Ivanka.’

He referenced his son Barron, saying he ‘will do a good job’, and joked: ‘He’s certainly tall.’

He added: ‘They’ve gone through hell.’

The Trumps were accompanied by a throng of their most fervent supporters – among them the My Pillow founder, Mike Lindell, and conservative political operative Roger Stone.

Kari Lake, who failed in November to be elected as governor of Arizona, was also at the gathering.

There was a festive atmosphere in the ballroom, with Trump’s supporters energized by Tuesday’s proceedings as he railed against the 34 count felony indictment against him.

The former had been charged formally on Tuesday for allegedly falsifying business records by paying off individuals when he was first running for president in 2016.

He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges, and lambasted the investigation as a ‘witch hunt.’

Sources have said that Melania and Barron were trying to maintain a low profile in the wake of the indictment.

A source familiar with the family told PageSix last week that ‘Melania is lying very low.

‘She hasn’t been coming out for the dinners and events at Mar-a-Lago. He is acting like everything is normal, but she hasn’t been social,’ the person said.

‘She wants to be away from it. She wants to protect Barron,’ the person added.

In fact, Barron has not been seen publicly since Ivana Trump’s funeral in July.

He was pictured at the memorial service at St. Vincent Ferrer Church on the Upper East Side with his father and mother, who waved to supporters in the streets as the yelled their support.

Barron was later pictured standing by his father’s side after the funeral service concluded.
