Harry and Meghan may be set to return to the Royal Family in a matter of years, an expert has claimed.
The pair left a sour taste in the mouths of their relatives when they announced they were stepping down from their royal roles, creating a divide between the pair and their family across the pond.
But royal author Tina Brown reckons the Duke and Duchess may eventually get tired of their new roles in entertainment, cautioning that Hollywood doesn't always grant a steady income and high status – unlike being a working royal.

"I think the Sussexes are beginning to realise the mirage of 'entertainment deals,' which are wildly difficult to deliver on as everyone in Hollywood knows. It’s much, much easier to be a royal, which offers perennial Status without much requirement for Quo," she explained.
"Watch for the pivot in a year or two, when the Sussexes feel the calling to return to the UK to serve Harry’s country and rejoin the balcony line-up for which front-page coverage is assured."
The Daily Star has contacted the Sussexes for comment.
Harry and Meghan officially left The Firm in 2020 and in the subsequent time have secured major multi-year, multi-million-pound deals with the likes of Spotify and Netflix.

The duo signed the deals, the size of which have never been confirmed, under their brand name Archewell, and Meghan finally dropped the first instalment of her podcast Archetypes last week (August 23) featuring pal Serena Williams.
But the pair had already delved into the world of entertainment in 2019, with Harry having announced the Apple TV+ show The Me You Can't See.
Despite hoping the series would launch in 2020, the show only hit screens in May 2021 and saw the royal open up about topics including his mental health and even dropping a few royal bombshells.
Harry and Meghan are due back in the UK in early September for a series of charity visits that will take them both to London and Manchester, but will also see the pair making a stop in Germany.
