Brit holidaymakers have been left in despair, after a "network-wide failure" of air traffic control systems.
Reports claim that significant issues are being had with the systems at major airports including Heathrow.
Passengers outside of the UK are reported to have been told that their flights have been delayed because flight controls are down.

An easyJet notification sent to passengers said: “We have been advised of an Air Traffic control issue currently affecting all flights due to fly into or out of United Kingdom airspace.
“We are working with the relevant authorities to understand the impact of this issue and timescale of this issue and the timescale for normal operations to resume.
“If you are already on board one of our planes waiting to take off then our crew will keep you updated.
“If you are in on one of our airports waiting to board then please continue to check the flight information screens in the terminal and we will provide further updates here on flight tracker.”
Multiple people have taken to the social media channel formerly referred to as Twitter, to note that a number of flights delayed for six to seven hours.
The issue is feared to have impacted a number of airport, with London Lutin saying in a statement: "An Air traffic Control issue is affecting UK airspace, resulting in disruption to flights.
"We are working with the relevant authorities to understand the impact of the timescale for normal operations to resume."
National air traffic controllers, NATS, said in a statement: "We are currently experiencing a technical issue and have applied traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety. Engineers are working to find and fix the fault.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
A statement from airline Loganair said: "There has been a network-wide failure of UK air traffic control computer systems this morning.
"Although we are hopeful of being able to operate most intra-Scotland flights on the basis of local coordination and with a minimum of disruption, north-south and international flights maybe subject to delays.
"If you are flying with us today, please check our website for the latest information about your flight before setting off for the airport."
