A "GANG" tried to snatch a child from a car in horrifying scenes before cops arrested three people including a boy over the suspected kidnap.
Officers rushed to reports of a disturbance on Friday around 6.51pm on Castle Lane East, Bournemouth.
A woman was reportedly approaching the junction in her car near to Royal Bournemouth Hospital when two people got out of another vehicle.
The duo, who police say were known to the driver, attempted to undo the seatbelt of a young child who was in the passenger seat.
It was also alleged that threats were made to the woman.
The suspects did not take the child.

It's understood they returned to their car and made off in direction of Iford.
Dorset police launched an investigation which led them to arrest a man, 40, from Christchurch.
He was charged with making threats to kill and breaching a non-molestation order.
He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today.

A 15-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man, also both from Christchurch, were arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnap.
They have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Abbie Hawker, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate the full circumstances of this incident, which is reported to have involved individuals who were all known to each other, and we are keen to speak to any independent witnesses.
“We would also urge any motorists who were driving in the area on the evening of Friday 18 August 2023 to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
The force are now appealing for witnesses.
