HORRIFIED customers have accused 'Britain's most expensive bakery' of "daylight robbery" after seeing the price for a single cookie.
A posh London bakery has been slammed by outraged visitors who were shocked to find cookies would set them back £25 after the menu prices were kept hidden.
Cédric Grolet opened in The Berkeley London hotel earlier this year and is known for being one of the finest patisseries outside of Paris.
The pastry chef, whose business is named after him, has won several awards for his creations, however his prices have sparked fury.
In one TikTok, a user was shocked to discover their bill came to £34 after ordering a mint tea and a seemingly plain cookie, which they described as "daylight robbery".
The Knightsbridge bakery has garnered a lot of attention online, one TikTok user filmed pastries displayed on the counter and said: "You know never to trust somewhere that doesn't have the prices or a menu out.
