Iran plans to ramp up its involvement in Ukraine by sending a supply of ballistic missiles to aid Russia’s invasion, the country’s military chiefs have claimed. Officials believe Russia would deploy the shipment, which contains missiles and additional drones, from the country’s northern border. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Colonel Yuri Ignat said that, from this position, the deployed weapons would “threaten all of Ukraine”.

He said: “We will use all means of defense against these missiles.

He claimed the ballistic missiles would come in 300km and 700km range capabilities.
