Israeli forces have killed several Hamas commandos during a series of raids targeting the terrorist group’s elite Nukhba forces which were instrumental in carrying out the bloody October 7 massacre.

The operations were carried out after IDF soldiers were given intelligence on the location of top Hamas operatives by Israel’s Shin Bet Security agency.

Ahmed Musa, a Nukhba company commander, and Amr Alhandi, a Nukhba platoon commander were found and killed in the Jabaliya area of northern Gaza, according to the IDF.

Israel says Musa was one of the commanders who led the attack on Zikim Base and a nearby kibbutz on October 7.

The IDF said: “In recent days Ahmed Musa led offensive activity against IDF forces in the west Jabaliya area.”

Muhammed Kahlout, who was commander of a Hamas sniper unit in northern Gaza, was also killed, according to the IDF.

In another raid, IDF 252nd Division soldiers killed 19 Hamas terrorists planning attacks on Israeli forces.

The Nukhba force is a commando wing of Hamas specialising in amphibious raids from Gaza into Israel.

During the October 7 terrorist attack, numerous commandos took small boats from Gaza and landed on Israel’s beaches carrying out brutal attacks.

The October 7 attack killed at least 1,400 Israelis, most of them civilians. Hamas took around 240 hostages back to Gaza.

The unprecedented and brutal terrorist attacks prompted Israel to declare war on Hamas. Tel Aviv has carried out thousands of airstrikes in Gaza and launched a ground invasion into the strip.

At least 40 IDF soldiers have been killed in the fighting while the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza claims at least 10,000 people have been killed in the strip since the war began.
