Ivanka Trump has shown off her incredible skurfing skills as she posted stunning footage of her off the coast of Miami Beach on Monday.

The former First Daughter, 41, shared a clip of her riding the waves and posing for a smile with her son Theo, seven, during the action packed Labor Day weekend.

The youngster watched on with delight as his mom – who was wearing a yellow one-piece swimsuit, black lifejacket and baseball cap – gave the thumbs up.

Meanwhile she also shared a glamorous photograph of her with friends, which she captioned a ‘beach pool day with my favs’.

It has been several weeks since the former first daughter has posted to Instagram, having remained quiet while her father Donald faced his fourth arrest.

It marks the first time she has posted since her father, former president Donald Trump was booked into Georgia’s infamous Fulton County jail where he had his mugshot taken, in what was his fourth arrest.

Last month, the 77-year-old made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a mugshot after his arrest for trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia

Only days earlier it was rumored Ivanka had u-turned on her decision to withdraw from politics amid his rising popularity ratings.

Ivanka, 41, who used to serve as Trump’s White House adviser alongside her husband Jared Kushner, had said she was withdrawing from politics in November to spend more time with her family.

But members of Trump’s inner circle have said his eldest daughter and son-in-law have recently been resurfacing behind the scenes, according to Vanity Fair.

Rumors about their renewed involvement in his 2024 campaign began to swirl after they were spotted among MAGA elites at a private event in Trump’s Bedminster golf club in July.

Since then, the couple have been seen ‘far more frequently’ at political networking and campaign events – ostensibly as members of the family rather than in an official advisory capacity – as Trump’s ratings rise.

In mid-November last year, Ivanka said she would not be involved in her father’s 2024 run for the White House, saying she instead planned to focus on her children

Sources close to the couple told DailyMail.com have disputed this impression – saying ‘absolutely nothing has changed’ regarding their withdrawal from the political scene.

‘Jared and Ivanka are not looking to be in politics and they enjoy spending their summers in Bedminster with Ivanka’s father and their kids as they always have,’ they said.

‘They continue to maintain a close personal relationship.’

Meanwhile, a top campaign strategist told Vanity Fair that the couple had been spotted more frequently at political events.

‘They’ve been spotted more frequently this summer,’ they said. ‘They’ve made it clear they’re supportive. They pop into meetings to say hi.’

A former Trump official also told the magazine that Kushner, 42, whose private equity firm Affinity Partners relies on Saudi investment, ‘needs to protect his turf, especially in the Middle East’.

‘Now that the president is 40 points ahead, of course Jared is pretending he’s involved,’ they said. ‘If he’s president again, Jared needs to protect his turf, especially in the Middle East.’

In mid-November last year, Ivanka said she would not be involved in her father’s 2024 run for the White House, saying she instead planned to focus on her children.

‘I love my father very much,’ she said in her Instagram announcement.

‘This time around, I’m choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family.

‘While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.’

Although Kushner attended Trump’s campaign launch that same month, Ivanka was noticeably absent as Trump called attention to other family members in the room including wife, former First Lady Melania Trump and his middle son Eric.

But as the winds have changed and Trump’s popularity is on the rise, Ivanka and Jared seem to be angling to return to their roles as his White House supporters.

Their previous involvement in his administration proved lucrative for Kushner in the months that followed.

Six months after leaving the White House in 2020, Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from a fund led by Saudi crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was a close ally during Trump’s tenure.

He landed the massive deal despite Affinity Partners – which was only launched in 2021 – being flagged by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund’s screening panel as ‘inexperienced’ and ‘unsatisfactory in all aspects’ of its operations.

Kushner and the Saudi prince were on first-name terms in text messages and calls for years during Trump’s tenure, according to the New York Times.

Their communications continued even after the October 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, 59, who was ambushed and killed by Saudi agents.
