The missing persons report has now been closed and the Beverly Hills Police Department has declined to reveal any information about Leierth-Segura’s disappearance.

Leierth-Segura’s reappearance was also confirmed by friend Liz Montgomery in a now deleted Facebook post.

‘I just wanted to share that my friend, Camela has been found and she is safe,’ she wrote.

‘I can’t offer any other details than that, but I wanted to thank everyone for all of your support. We would not have found her without you. Thank you!!!’

A missing persons report was filed for Leierth-Segura, who is originally from Nederluleå, Sweden, after family and friends were unable to contact her for weeks.

Foss told The Independent at the time that she feared someone has abducted Camela and was holding her somewhere.

‘My worst fear is that someone has her, and is hurting her,’ she said.

Montgomery had called for a welfare check after Leierth-Segura’s sister, who is in Sweden, raised concerns.

Leierth-Segura wrote the 2013 song ‘Walk On Air’ for Katy Perry’s ‘Prism’ album

‘She had mentioned it to all of us that she was having trouble; Covid definitely was not helpful for her because she’s a musician, model, actress, all that stuff,’ Montgomery told The Los Angeles Times.

‘And there was no money coming in.

‘When I woke up in the morning there was already a message saying ‘Hey, have you talked to Camela?”

Neighbors at the time echoed Foss’ worries, saying it’s uncommon for Leierth-Segura to go silent.

Harrison Silverman, who lived nearby, said he would talk to Leierth-Segura once a week but that he had not heard from her at all since June.

Shiva Bagheri said she had not seen Leierth-Segura’s car in more than a month.

Friends and neighbors confirmed she had been struggling to pay rent prior to her disappearance but that they did not believe she would just up and vanish.

‘She means the world to us and time is of the essence. Her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance,’ Montgomery wrote on Instagram.

Leierth-Segura had been evicted from her Beverly Hills rental property and was said to be struggling financially at the time of her disappearance

Liz Montgomery had called for a welfare check after Leierth-Segura’s sister raised the alarm amid fears the songwriter had been kidnapped

‘We are extremely worried about her safety, and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her,’ one friend posted on Instagram.

Leierth-Segura is best known for her collaboration with ‘Teenage Dream’ singer Katy Perry. In 2013, the Swedish-native co-wrote the song ‘Walk On Air’ for Perry’s ‘Prism’ album.

The song, released as a single, entered the iTunes chart at number one in the United States and was described as having a 90s sound.

In an interview with MTV at the time, Perry said of the single: ‘It’s my favorite song off the record.’
