The Queen Mary University of London has launched an investigation after a students’ racist WhatsApp group was exposed. 

In a series of screenshots shared to Twitter, students from Queen Mary University can be seen to be making a number of racist comments.

Messages include repeated use of n***** as well as other explicit racial slurs.

Messages include repeated use of n***** as well as other explicit racial slurs

One message reads ‘down with the n*****s’, while another student writes, ‘f*****g hate black n*****s’. 

A spokesperson for the university said that they are investigating the issue and do not tolerate racism ‘in any form’.

‘We do not, and will not, tolerate racism in any form. We are in the process of investigating this serious issue.’, they told the Tab.

‘Any student or staff member is urged to use our Report and Support online tool to report, anonymously if preferred, any issues they encounter.

‘Any students affected by this incident are advised to contact welfare services.’
