A WEST End theatre has been evacuated today after a bomb threat, with cops and sniffer dogs seen swarming the scene.
Emergency services were scrambled to London's Wellington Street this afternoon after the scare, seeing the area quickly taped off.
Lion King was being shown at Lyceum Theatre at the time and dozens of people were hurried out onto the street mid-show.
Cops quickly swarmed the area, taping off a large section of the street around the theatre.
The theatre was extensively searched but police said no bomb was found.
Met Police told The Sun: "Cordons were put in place as a precaution following receipt of a bomb threat at a theatre in Wellington Street WC2 at around 1600hrs on Sunday, 23 July.

"The venue was searched and nothing found. Staff have returned and the incident has been stood down."
The theatre has been approached for comment.
