FOR anyone considering a piercing, the amount of pain it will cause them is something they'll definitely think about.
So professional piercer Charlotte's rundown of her least to most painful piercings is likely to be helpful for many, as she explained in a TikTok video that's been watched almost 165,000 times.
"Least painful definitely septum, followed by bridge – both of them were quite easy," Charlotte said.
"The only thing I’ve found with my bridge, because my bridge is only about three months old, is with the hot weather that the UK’s been having, it’s been quite difficult – I’ve had to upsize and downsize so much because it keeps deciding to have a swell.
"Then it would probably be my lower nostril piercings.
"Obviously nose piercings are quite sharp and they make your eyes water – they’re not unbearable but they’re not pleasant."

Of the facial piercings she still has in, the lip one was what Charlotte found the most painful.
"Lip is so sharp, I’m not going to lie to you, like so sharp," she grimaced.
"And I’ve had multiple lip piercings. But it does make you look like you’ve had filler done – so that’s a bonus I guess, for some of us."
However, the most painful of all the piercings she's ever had done were her high nostril piercings.

"I miss them but oh my god, the swell. I looked like a rugby player for two weeks!" she concluded.
In the comments section of the video, people thanked Charlotte for her advice, while others insisted they'd had different pain responses to some of their piercings.
"my least and most are the opposite! My top lip was nothing but my septum was rough," one wrote.
